Libraries allow children to ask questions about the world and find the answers. And the wonderful thing is that once a child learns to use a library, the doors to learning are always open.

Welcome to the M.S. 74 Library located on the second floor in Room 223. Your search starts here! Our library has a wealth of resources for all your learning needs that can be accessed from school, home, or on the go! Make the Library a regular part of your school experience.
Every student has his/her own Library account. Students may have 1 book on their account at any one time. The lending period for each book is 3 weeks. Overdue books should be returned as soon as possible. Students are NOT charged a fine for overdue books. In the event a Library item becomes lost or damaged, students have the option to pay the full price of the item or replace it with an exact copy.
Obtain a pass from Ms. Delendick in the library on your grade’s designated day before going to the cafeteria. After you eat lunch, then you may come up to the library to read, print, or work on your studies. Once you are in the library, you stay there for the remainder of the lunch period.
