TEAM74 has 2 finalists! They were selected over 1250 entries to be a part of P.S. Art 2024!
P.S. Art celebrates the visual arts in New York City’s public schools and showcases the tremendous talent of students from every neighborhood across the city.
The opening reception is on June 18th at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Works will continue to be on view until late October 2024. Our students’ artwork will also be shared online and in a catalogue. The Arts Office will create a catalogue that will be printed and posted online. In addition, The Metropolitan Museum of Art will be posting a virtual exhibition of P.S. Art 2024 on The Met’s website, and it will include both student and teacher statements.

From the US Department of Education Press release,
"This year's cohort of honorees demonstrates what is possible when committed educators and school leaders create vibrant, welcoming, and affirming school cultures where rich teaching and learning can flourish," said Secretary Cardona. "I commend all our Blue Ribbon honorees for working to keep students healthy and safe while meeting their academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs. In the face of unprecedented circumstances, you found creative ways to engage, care for, protect, and teach our children. Blue Ribbon Schools have so much to offer and can serve as a model for other schools and communities so that we can truly build back better."
